About David Urbano (Barcelona, Spain, 1973) View artist profile >>

David Urbano was born in Barcelona, where he currently lives and works. After taking a degree in Psychology, he decided to study Photography.

His work is mainly focused in fashion photography and portraits. He regularly contributes to magazines such as Women's Health, Grazia, Vanidad, Woman Madame Figaro, Smoda, Metal, Fanzine 137, El Magazine de El Mundo, Marie Claire, Flydoscope, and has developed several campaigns and advertorials for brands from Yerse, Lydia Delgado, Vera Viana, Jan Iu Mes, Apres Ski, Diesel, Gas to Louis Vuitton.

On his artistic side, David has participated in exhibitions such as A Cop D'Ull La Virreina Centre De La Imatge, Les Rencontres d’Arles 2008, where he was nominated in the category of Discovery Award by Luis Venegas; Estoril Fashion Art 2010, El Canal de Isabel II and La Tecla Sala, among others.

At present he also teaches photography influences and workshops at IED Barcelona and EATM.

David is the editor and creative director of ERASE EDITIONS, an independent printed project about new creativity and young talent.
