'Metíamos la cabeza entre las piernas y veíamos cómo se transformaba toda la visión del paisaje; descubríamos por este procedimiento la rutina de los ojos, porque la postura nos cambiaba toda la visión. Nos parecía que lo que contemplábamos desde lo alto del cerro no había sido todavía realizado por ningún pintor, ya fuera El Greco, Velázquez, Zurbarán o Picasso.'
