About Alastair Levy (London, 1979) View artist profile >>

Alastair Levy works with materials, objects and processes relating to the industrial and the everyday. Using a wide range of media including photography, video, drawing and found objects he amplifies the experience of momentary observations which hold significance amongst the constant stream of images and sensations encountered in daily life. Source material for his work often takes the form of those things which are on the brink of redundancy – the waste products of labour, unread emails, correction fluid – quotidian ephemera which are unwanted or clinging on in the face of impending commercial extinction. Levy lives and works in London.

Levy studied at the Royal College of Art, London. Recent shows include OUTPOST Members' Show, OUTPOST, Norwich, UK (2017); Exeter Contemporary Open, Exeter Phoenix, Exeter, UK (2017); Alastair Levy, Three Works, Weymouth, UK (2017) [solo] and Edit/Undo, Space In Between, London, UK (2015) [curated].
