About Adrián Villar Rojas (Rosario, Argentina, 1980) View artist profile >>

Adrian Villar Rojas is a multidisciplinar artist from Argentina that works in sculpture, (usually in big size and made of clay), drawing, music and installation. We can find mythic and apocalipthic allusions to the end of the world all over his work, as well as an aesthetic that reminds us to ancient sculptures. The use of both organic and waste materials in his pieces is also very common.

Generally, his work looks both timeless and ancient, challenging our notions of time, history and modernity, which generates a feeling of weirdness.
