Zush, a self-taught artist, presents in 2001 his alter ego Evru which defines himself as an ArtCieMist, this meaning he considers himself as an artist, a scientist and a mystic simultaneously. He considers his work contradictory as they are between the concept of real and imaginary. He uses a wide range of tools such as, his own alphabet, flags, hymns and language, to create his pieces. The artworks nurture themselves from an ironic imagery in order to convey the constant conflicts the artist has to face both from a creative and vital perspective.
He was awarded the City of Barcelona Prize 2000-2001 and in 2003 he honoured by the Contemporary Art Catalan Critique Association. Evru has displayed his work internationally in museums such as the Today Art Museum in Beijing (2007) and in the MoMA Duo Lun in Shangai (2007).
