Péter's work stands out for the use of non-traditional materials, which give a very unique character to his pieces, such as conventional boxes converted into light boxes, or drawings based on graphite, pastel and rubber. His works resemble film tapes, which gives a very personal perspective to his work and evokes ideas that belong to the collective memory.

His work has been exhibited in individual and collective exhibitions all over the world, and he has participated in the best fairs in the world such as The Armory Show, Art Brussels or Artíssima. In 2013 he won the Contemporary Pastel prize and in 2016 he received the Pastel Society prize and the Triennal of Salgótarján scholarship.
