Self-thaught artist, Perejaume works with painting and poetry, with a strong influence of the artist Joan Brossa. In the 70’s he had his first exhibitions, centering his work in the subjects of landscapes and catalan culture, with the influence of historical avant-gardes. All of his work is always in catalan. Having surrealistic roots, his production goes little by little from painting to writting, developing a very experimental and thoughtful art in which he explores the relationship between the human being and the space that surrounds him.
Perejaume has received many prizes such as the National Prize of Visual Arts, given by the catalan government, or the National Prize of Visual Plastic Arts offered by the Spanish Minister of Culture.
