Oleg Dou is one of the most promising artists of his generation, having been graded in the top 3 under 30 years old photographers best saled in public auctions by Artprice. When he was 13 his parents offered him his first computer with an old versión of photoshop and he started to transform the faces of his schoolfriends and teachers. First inspired by child funeral portraits and now inspired by nipon minimalism, he says he likes to explore the bordering between living and dead, beauty and ugliness. In his work, through the Photoshop practice, the limit between painting and photography disappears. In 2007 he received the International Photography Award and the International Color Award.
