Michael Berryhill was born in El Paso, Texas in 1972. He received his BFA at the University of Texas in 1994 and attended the Skowhegan school of painting and sculpture (Madison, ME) before receiving his MFA from Columbia University in 2009. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
Berryhill has held solo exhibitions at Kate Werble Gallery, New York (2017); Galería Marta Cervera, Madrid, Spain (2017); Night Gallery, Los Angeles (2016); Kansas, New York (2016, 2014, 2012) and Jeff Bailey Gallery, Hudson, NY (2015) to name a few, as well as many other collective exhibits around the world.
His works have been reviewed in publications such as Artnet News, Art in America, Blouin art info, New American Paintings, Huffpost arts & culture and the new york times.
