Luis Macías is artist, filmmaker and recycler of images. His works in movie format 8mm, super 8 and 16mm are conceived as projects of Film Performance or Expanded Cinema. His artistic worries are focused in two points: the physical work on cinematographic movie, as well as the recycling and re-invention of new relations between the images. His offers in movie and/or video are conceived both projection in dark room and for performance or installation in the white bucket.He is a member of Crater Collective , and founder of Crater-Lab, a laboratory of analogical independent cinema managed by artists.
