Macareno places the work produced in the studio as the centre of his practice. In this eminently practical work, a series of actions trigger new ones, and these, in turn, others. Therefore, in this – according to art’s own logic – intertwined link testimonies and artefacts appear, remnants of a process where the constant practice and technical exercise are fundamental pillars always destined to the experimentation and search for forms that may account for the aesthetical experience. Hence, a key principle emerges setting off artistic decisions that generate meaningful formal results.
