Anja Krakowski

Krakowski works vertebrates around the discipline of cultural studies. She’s an interdisciplinary artist and through her artistic production consists mainly of installations in which different mediums are used such as sculpture, video, photography, drawing and even text. Through these pieces, she aims to evoke narratives concerning the concept of limits and frontiers both from a geographical and social perspective. 

The artist’s works have been shown in several galleries such as 4Gats Gallery in Palma de Mallorca; Punto Gallery in Valencia; Ferrán Cano Gallery in Barcelona and in the ‘Centro de la Imagen’ in Mexico among other institutions. In 2016, Krakowski produced the monument dedicated to the Valencia underground accident. She has also participated in the 3rd Casablanca Biennale in 2016 as well as in the 7th Symposium of Public Art in Jordania.
