Ana Vidigal was born in Lisbon in 1960 where she lives and works. She graduated in painting from ESBAL in 1984. In 1999 wins the Maluda Prize and in 2003 the Prize Amadeo de Souza Cardozo. In 2010, the Modern Art Centre of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation organized, curated by Isabel Carlos, her first anthological exhibition entitled: Girl Cleans Dirty Girl. She has exhibited regularly since 1981, the most recent being 2015 – Guard (me) Municipal Theatre of Guarda, Guarda; Amuse – Bouche, Difference Gallery, Lisbon; 2014 – Jugular, Camões Institute Luanda, Angola; Or go t’on ?, Stag Room, National Museum of Natural History and Science, Lisbon; We are unbearable, insufferable Both Nogueira da Silva Museum, Braga; First End (strictly personal).
