Amadeo Gabino studied at the San Carlos Academy in Valencia and completed his training in various European and American cities: Rome (1949), Paris (1952), Hamburg (1958-1960) and New York (1961), where he met Alexander Archipenko Jacques Lipchitz and Alexander Calder. His sculpture, which starts from constructivist concepts, is embodied in complex abstract metal figures, with their own interior structures, forming columns or wall surfaces.

The sculptor represented Spain in the 1956 and 1966 editions of the Venice Biennale, and presented his work in a multitude of collective and individual exhibitions, among which those made at the Kunstverein Oerlinghausen (1988), in the Lauter Gallery ( Manheim, 1990), and in the Casa del Cordón (Burgos, 1990).
