Inma Ávalos, aka Alicia Kopf, is a writer and multidisciplinary artist.
Her pseudonym responds to an allegory about somebody who is searching for her own identity, for herself. This allegory finds its origins in a Project she did while in Germany in 2006, in which a figure perspective kkeps searching for a head, and in the end it happens to be kopf searching for her own head.
Nowadays, her artistic work centers in the research, linking the epics from the polar conquests with personal and autobiographical elements.
She graduated in Fine Arts and Literature, and in her work she writes and also uses very diferent media such as video, sculpture and drawing.
Her work has been exhibited in important national museums such as Fundació Antoni Tàpies and she has also collaborated with institutions such as the CCCB.
